Interning

King’s Arms Project offers various internships across our 4 areas of Outreach, Accommodation, Opportunity and Operations. We offer a number of placements of varying lengths, on a rolling basis for those with a passion to see the lives of the homeless and disadvantaged transformed.

You would work alongside various members of our team, gaining valuable experience and insight into the operational running of a Christian charity. You would be considered part of the King’s Arms Project team for your internship and would be exposed to learning and development opportunities during your time with us.

Although the internship is voluntary and therefore unpaid, we would of course, cover expenses incurred while working with us.

If you feel King’s Arms project may be for you, please complete and submit this form and our team will get back to you to discuss further. Please note that due to the limited availability of placements we cannot guarantee an internship for all who apply and after contacting those you are interested in working with, an interview is likely as part of the selection process.

What you can expect

  • The opportunity to serve the homeless and demonstrate God’s love
  • Regular in-depth training
  • Be part of a dynamic team

  • You will also receive mentoring and professional training

You can join us at any point in the year.

“Last night was my final shift as an intern at the Nightshelter. I can’t adequately describe in one small post how much of a transformative experience this last year has been for me, how much I’ve learnt and how much I’ve grown. I’ve made friends that I want to keep until I’m old and grey and to have been given the opportunity to serve and love the most broken and looked down on day in and day out has been the greatest privilege of my life. Thanks King’s Arms Project, it’s been a blast.”
