Assisting with one of our Pathways to Employment daytime courses / sessions facilitating a variety of different activities e.g. maintenance, bake it – eat it, football, I.T. courses, healthy living, etc.; or
Street Outreach meal – Friday Night Meeting (FNM). This would involve helping with food preparation and serving meals for the residents and spending time with the residents, getting to know them and valuing them. This could be on an ad-hoc basis, or a regular day or evening.

“I started volunteering at FNM in January 2005. From that first evening I loved every minute of it, even the endless washing up!! God has given me a real sense of purpose and value on a Friday evening. What a privilege to be able to serve with an amazing team of volunteers providing food and hopefully a real sense of God’s love and compassion for everyone who comes through the doors.”— Ali Borromeo, FNM Core Team
We believe that as we prioritise God and communicate with Him, we are giving ourselves and the Project the best opportunity to be blessed by Him. We believe that there is no such thing as a hopeless case and we wish to bring hope, opportunity and community to the homeless and disadvantaged in Bedfordshire.
