Overview:

We’re looking for new Support Worker(s) to help bring hope, community and opportunity into the lives of homeless people. If you’re passionate about loving the poor and supporting the disadvantaged, we want to hear from you!

Our current vacancies are based on an average of 40 hour per week working a rota of days, evenings and nights. Some weekend work will also be required. Part Time working will also be considered.

As an active Christian, this role offers you the opportunity to integrate and apply your Christian faith to all that we do. Please refer to our ‘Statement of Belief’ for the basis of our Christian faith.

European Economic Area (EEA) Case Worker

Overview:

We’re looking to fill a vacancy to help bring hope, community and opportunity into the lives of disadvantaged people. If you’re passionate about loving the poor and supporting the disadvantaged, we want to hear from you! 

European Economic Area (EEA) Case Worker – Full time (40 hours per week). Part time applications are also welcome.

Our EEA Case Worker(s) will worker with the existing Outreach team to engage with rough sleeping EEA nationals, supporting them into accommodation and helping them to engage in support services, employability training, health and well-being. Ideally you will be able to speak Polish or have the ability to communicate in languages other than English, at least through an interpreter. This is a fixed term role to 31 March 2021.

Crèche Bank Roles (Zero Hours Contract) - Monday to Thursday (9:30am to 2:30pm, when required)

Overview:

King’s Arms Project provide bespoke ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) tuition for our non-English speaking clients to help them further build community and open up further employment opportunities.

To further support this service we are setting up a Crèche at Christ Church, Bedford, to support those families with young children. We have appointed a team but are looking to recruit a number of Bank Staff on zero hour contracts to support the team, as and when required. We are looking for individuals from Assistant to Room Leader level.

You will perform an important role caring for children, maintaining a high-quality, stimulating learning environment and will be a creative and reflective individual, able to implement new ideas to continually improve practice and support the management team.
