To ensure the safely of our staff, volunteers and clients, the Friday Night Meeting has been temporarily suspended. As soon as restrictions have been lifted and we feel it safe to do so, we will resume the service.
Friday Night Meeting is an outreach meal, providing hot food and drinks for rough sleepers and those in need. We want to provide a safe place where people can talk about their problems and build real community and support.
Volunteers listen to and encourage the guests in conversations. We refer people on to other services such as the Nightshelter, Pathways to Employment and more. We offer prayer and we have an optional Christian talk at the end which guests can attend if they wish to.
We often have former Project clients volunteering with us who enjoy spending their time in a useful way and are pleased to give something back to the community.
